One of the most fun ways to get a peek into another person’s life is to experience their city like a local would -- with a homebase in a their space. LifeSwap takes the fun of living how a stranger does one step further. We’ve teamed up with AirBnB to give you a taste of what it’s like to step into someone else’s shoes. We can safely say that this is the best giveaway of any SXSW party around.
Day 4 is about the word on every marketer’s mouth. Everyone’s focusing on it, but it’s not a focused word. What does it mean exactly? Why does it matter? And how do we do it right? Attend small group workshops about mobile ads, mobile responsive site and mobile app development. Learn about the rapid rise of mobile browsing (and what that means to us) in our interactive globe installation. And hear from Ruth McCarthy, Founder of Mobili Media, about how to get caught up -- and then get ahead.
The Lit Exhibit is a project that launched in July 2016. Doubling as a book release party of sorts, the gallery premeired as a solo showcase of textual, visual, and interactive literary art by Brooklyn native Lana C. Marilyn.Â
Â
The show returns in Spring 2017, this time at New Women Space, for its second iteration. The gallery will feature several contemporary emerging writers and artists.
Â
For The Lit Exhibit: Spectrums, participants have been asked to reflect on the subject of "fluidity" as it applies to daily life, and to produce work that illuminates this theme.
Â
Providing audiences with a unique immersion into the literary world, Lana C. Marilyn has striven to curate a gallery that challenges how people read and engage with the written word.Â
Â
Tickets are available for $10 and can be purchased at the door for $15. Please note that this is a pop-up exhibition that will only be available for a one-time viewing.
